Just for you Dr. Mani

Almost Everyone Using Camtasia
Makes this Mistake

Below I am including a typical header section for the index page of a camtasia video.

<!-- saved from url=(0025)http://www.techsmith.com/ -->

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
<meta name="DC.date" content="Wednesday, December 19, 2007" />
<meta name="DC.language" content="ENU" />
<title>Created by Camtasia Studio 4</title>
<script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="cam_embed.js"></script>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="FlashTemplate.css"/>

</head>

Do you see the problem?

Well, if not, let me point it out to you. The problems are with the meta tags, or lack there of. It does have a title tag, but it only gives love to Camtasi's creator, Techsmith.

What you really need to do is edit the html files before you post them, to include meta-tags with keyword phrases that will help your video.
